Myrtle Beach State Park Campground
Myrtle Beach State Park campground is a few miles from the crowds, which is pretty nice, if you like to stay in a comfy place.
The park is clean with lots of nature around and the beach it's only few minutes walk away. You could walk along the boardwalk to the pier and around the picnic sites, also there are few walking trails through the forest.
The campsite provides hot showers, laundromat, and a small convenience store located at the campground entrance.
There is a bigger grocery store just a 1/2 mile from the state park too. Free wireless internet is available for registered guests.
Plenty of sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet or smaller. Tent camping is available with access to central water and about $20 per night.
Five cabins two and three bedrooms furnished available to rent for about 80-130 dollars per night.
If you are planing to arrive after business hours make sure to contact the office for the gate combination and access to the campsite.
The price for camping is reasonable and the staff are very friendly always trying to be helpful. The bathrooms might not look fantastic, but most state parks don't have the best facilities.
If you enjoy nature and less crowded beach, then Myrtle Beach State campground is the right place for you.
Be aware that the park is located near Myrtle Beach Airport, which means there is a low flying airplane traffic throughout the day.
